Edison Creative is an innovation team of designers and creators based in Omaha, NE, working with local and national clients.

At Edison, I learned the basics of motion design, how to use the Adobe suite, and witnessed how designers collaborate on projects. First as an intern, then as a junior artist, I expanded my skills in Cinema 4D, character rigging in Moho, background drawing, and countless other skills. The projects range from explainer videos to in-house cinematic animations.

I had a blast at Edison! My time there gave me a solid knowledge base, and served as a great starting point for improving my own motion design skills.

Below are a couple of projects that I contributed to.

Smart Chicken

Responsibilities: Prop modeling, character rigging, side character animation, cloth dynamics, chicken animation

Program: Cinema 4D

The Axiom Chronicles:

This in-house production series was by far one of the coolest things I got to observe. While I was ’t one of the main artists on this project, I contributed some minor support. This was also a learning experience for me as I tested out techniques in Cinema 4D, learned how to rig in Moho, received mentorship on drawing backgrounds, and learned about file structure and organization.

I handled rigging and animation for DuneBot (the large yellow robot), Death-bot Artwork Vectorization, Background art, 3D staging, and rigging and animating side characters.
